How long do you have to wait for test results?

Hi, DS 95, asd) has had a blood test taken mid november to check for genetic conditions such as Fragile X, and another one which i'm unsure of the name .
Three weeks ago he also has had an EEG as he has blank spacey sort of moments.

It probably varies from area to area but how long did you wait for results for similar tests?

Should i try contacting his paed? or should i view this as a no news is good news situation?

hm the basic genetics for fragile x I think was about 3 months .The other gentic test he has had done been told 6-12 months

The EEg we got his results next day as we had them doen as a inpatiant second time around.

The first time they did not contact me so checked 3 weeks and they said was clear and we would gave contacted if sanything shown
