The postman's just been with a brown envelope - my request for reconsideration on J's DLA claim has been successful! Middle rate care and lower rate mobility, backdated to April and running on till April 2007. Thanks for all the advice and support I've had from the board with making the claim.

To all of you in the 'system' at the moment - keep on going and good luck to you all.

Well done Karen! That's exactly what happened to me too - and with the support of MN, I got awarded the very things they had turned me down on before. Enjoy!

Hey, I'm on a roll here! I've just had confirmation that the holiday cottage I desperately wanted to book for next year is free for the week we want it. It's in the village where I had all my childhood holidays and even though it's only an hour's drive from where we live, I'm really excited! And what's more, we've got the money to pay for it now!

I think it might be a good day to get on the scales...

Now hold on, don't spoil your excitement just yet

Well done for getting the DLA, what a relief for you, great news.

Woooooohooooo!

Well done!

I get the feeling I'll still be here in a year's time moaning that ds2's claim hasn't been decided on yet. I've only been waiting since June..........
