AS comp place with transport from September.

bit sad for the 30 or so chidlren who missed out on the two places, it's a stupid and wrong system, but relieved.

We are hoping that he can MS after a few eyars support (maybe optimistic, we shall see) and then we can move closer to friends but that remains to be seen.

I love our LEA. Compared to what I read on here, they deserve a halo and sainthoods.

Woo hoo. Great news - well done Newport LEA for giving provision without a fight!

You know, they really are that good- I might include a Christmas card with the acceptance letter. Both SA applications accepted first time, took a bit of umph to get ds3 a palce but once we'd given MS a shot were really helpful about that and no quibbles over transport... came to school viewings with me if I wanted them to.... even stood up to the school when they wanted to promote crap SENCO (old school)- school still did it but against LEA's written advice.

they ain;t perfect- getting them to attend a review is like getting Dh to order my CHristmas present on time (have been on changing delivery times to first class LOL- don;t tell him I know what I am getting)- but overall we are lucky.
