My 4.11 Ds , no dx yet but general delay, especially speech & fine motor, just started pre school. He seems to have settled in well except at lunch time when his behavior really goes downhill & he hardly eats. Teacher & I agree that noisy canteen is probably the cause & today his OT suggested him wearing his walkman at lunchtime to block out noise. I really want to avoid yet another thing that marks him out as different but if I thought this would help would try it. Any other bright ideas on cutting stimuli without making him eat alone somewhere else?
