DS2 has his first "play date" today

So nervous for him. He has a friend coming home for tea after school, he has been so excited about it since yesterday.

It will be fine - i'm sure. I love the way that they get so excited about having friends to tea. When you are an older , jaded adult you seem to need bigger events to make you excited. to them both.

Well they are upstairs playing, even though I had to coax DS2 to do it, as he usually chills in front of a dvd when he gets home from school.

So far it's going ok.

Sounds good! My ds has a friend home today too. Made a space in his room and set out some toys - so far so good. Hope it goes well for your ds. Think mine will be very wound up when DH takes friend home later!

Well it went really well. DS2 is quite wound up now, stimming and having a mini melt down. Think he will be in bed very shortly as it's all been a bit too much for him. He did enjoy it though :)
