Mainstream schools that will accept ABA shadow

Hi

Any suggestions as to mainstream schools that will take a 4.5 year old boy with "high functioning autism" who requires an ABA shadow to maintain attention and for language promotion? He is currently in an independent school that offers a Reception year but this school does not offer Year 1 or higher. We are Kensington and he has a Statement for ABA at home and school.

Thanks!

I think it depends an awful lot on the headteacher. My dd2's primary school accepted the ABA tutor as a TA for dd2, which has obviously worked out great. I think it will also depend on who is going to be funding the shadow. If you want the LEA to fund it, it will be more difficult.
