DLA Help Please?

I claimed DLA for my son, who has Downs Syndrome, when he was about 4 1/2. He gets the higher care rate, but I was told to re-apply for the mobility part once he was five. He is now 6 1/2 and I have just rang them to ask to send the forms.

They arrived this morning, but it is the whole form by the looks of it, not just the mobility part. Is this right? Do I have to apply for the whole thing again?

I was recently sent a DLA renewal form for ds who is now 6 - got middle rate DLA awarded when he was 4 . It's hard to tell whether they are wanting you to renew the claim or just do the mobility - Could you phone to check ?

In the most part I feel guilty about claiming it, so struggle with my conscience to do so.
