Perhaps I'm just a bit bored now I have nothing immediate to get cross about, but it HAS made me cross!

Us lot have enough stacked against us without the flippin MN 'system' letting us down and interfering with us getting access to our rights as well!

The reason that your post was deleted was because we had a complaint that it was a 'Vote Here' thread. We have had an influx of these recently and cannot make any exceptions. We have to hold fast to our rule that our discussion forums are really just for parent-to-parent support and advice - and not for any kind of promotional activity, however wonderful and worthy.

However, I will copy the post in an email to you (minus the 'VOTE HERE' link) which you are more than welcome to re-post.

MNHQ - what about letting the "vote here" be posted on the charities board? I can see why you would want to deter "vote for my baby to be Baked Beans beauty contest winner" type threads, but surely a charity could be cut more slack?

Thank you rebecca. I wasn't aware of any 'vote here' rules but the thread was nothing more than awareness raising of a service that people here would find useful.
