The DWP took two whole days to look at our DLA claim....a week to get it back including waiting for postman...do you think they read all 26 extra pages???...Any who we got MRC! :) Which is what we hoped for. I was hoping they would consider LRM but they wrote 'we will contact you when near age 5'....DD was 5 the week before we applied! Hmm I shall give them a ring.

Also had a meeting at school today with senco and Inclusion...who were stepping back a bit. :( I gave extra copies of SALT report and DX report. We had a discussion with the inclusion teacher who had been supporting DD weekly, head of inclusion and basically told senco of DDs difficulties...mainly speech, understanding concepts and verbal communcation, making friends and support recommended by professionals. It went well, (im still sceptical as they are always like nodding dogs at these things!), the SENCO actually admited to having SALT training and offered to rearrange her schedule to work with DD! Inclusion reconsidered and will continue weekly support to aid with social/emotional development! Grin Lots of suggestions of adult support needed and TA can do X Y Z! :)

..Im sure it will all fall apart but I decided to be happy, just for today anyway! :) :) :)
