gorilla tubs / squeezebox?

anybody's child use a tub or something like that to sit in/curl up in.?

my son has autism and loves to do this with boxes.

thinking bout getting him a gorilla tub for his xmas.

anybody use these, or something better?

have looked on amazon for a squeezebox, but dont think they do them...

It can be a sensory integration thing, and you can get referral for Sensory Integration Therapy (I don't know how - GP?)

You might want to get him a weighted blanket/lap pad/vest. It doesn't work for everyone, but helps a significant amount. You can buy them online or I can make you one (message me if you want more info on that).

Temple Grandin is an autistic lady in America. She has a PhD in something to do with animals and has done some amazing research, much of it on herself, abotu sensory issues :)

ds uses a laundry basket (plastic) and loves it. He even calls it a 'toy boat' now !!! He does not have much pretend play so for him this is a real breakthrough

Ikea has an egg shaped seat which swivels( i think) and which has a top bit which pulls over it to completely cover it in.
