one glass of wine on order ready for dc's bed time
one stodgey pudding waiting to finish cooking

who'd mix a teen and a pre teen with issues together.

Laptop and xbox banned for the night and one early bedtime on order.

If it were me I would be consideing cracking open the wine earlier :o

Everybody needs a good vent - it's the safety valve on our sanity system.
Tomorrow is another day - could be the same - could be worse - but most importantly, it could be better

Lol I need to have my wits till bed time.. Which will be even earlier if the banging doesn't stop soon! :) < end of tether smile>.

This all since we got in from school about an hour and thirty mins ago!

Ahh well .. I was expecting this tbh.. Boys have been at their dads this weekend.. Both are stressed .. And ds2 has a birthday this week ( week before is always hard work).

Just seen your laptop and xbox ban. I've banned my 2 eldest from the play station room for the rest of the week for their constant bad behaviour since school pick up. But hey, that's why i'm called auntevil!

it has just come down after the constant banging of the bed and annouced it's calm!

Ha haaa I laugh in the face of that comment.. Told him to try again .. See if you can not bang for ten minutes mate.
Few door slams and the bed is going again.. I feel a yo yo moment happening.

However life is going on around it all.. Dd is getting on nicely. Dh is watching friend and I'm on here whist pud finishes off ( bad timing on that one doh!)

Okay we are in shut down and non verbal.. And that means we're on our way out of it.
One super soft blanket wrapped tightly round and not readyfor rocking with mum yet.

actually i kind of hope that by logging it on here for others to read.. It might show that you can ride these moments in a calm and firm way.. And it really is okay when you know the routine of your own dc.

This has been totally about being overwhelmed and stressed.. and not at the point of being able to help himself.
And we are all now just sat on the sofa .. With the lights dimmed and all will be okay. ( until tonight when he'll have night terrors and need lots of settling)..

Ahh pud was delish! ( apple Charlotte to my mums recipe.. With cookers that came off the tree today :))

actually seeing as dh is on the school run I'm off to go and make another..got to use the last apples up and the family have had enough of every other apple concoction!

And i have no ida for dinner yet ( sighs at the same timings and routine everyday for dinner time.. As what arsenic wants to do is order in a Chinese !)
