I am having a halloween party tomorrow - well tonight and part of me is dreading the aftermath with DS1 but am I really being selfish havign a party? we have had one every year for the last 4 yrs

Lougle - I was in a similar position a few years ago and was put on Topomax (Topiramate) the anti epilepsy drug. I was on a fairly low dose for six months and it worked, although I did have some horrible side effects and they took me off it before the end of the treatment period in the end.

It was so worth it though. I went from having almost back to back migraines that often last for days at a time, to having hardly any. I only get one or two migraines a year now and nowhere near as severe. Its no exaggeration to say it totally changed my life for the better.

Hope you are able to find a treatment that works as well for you, migraines are so debilitating and have such a huge negative impact on your life.

I WAS up, but was affected by the big Internet outage oop north. Couldn't even get anything through neighbours' unsecured servers. Apparently a node or exchange or something went down because of a power cut.

So, without t'Internet, it ws just me, my husband and a bottle of vodka :o
