Well it's been a bit of a week already! Ds's have been really hard work..I've got no work done through all the teen and asd tantrums and fights.

Now they are at their dads I am having a quick lunch stop before I finish catching up on work.. And entertaining dd at the same time until aunty comes to take her out for a bit.

sometimes ( particularly in school holidays) I just wish I could be a totally SAHM .. Childcare for ds2 who is at secondary school is just non-existent.. And I feel like I'm juggling a million balls in the air.

Hopefully DLA will come in. But tbh all it will do is allow dh to work less hours to allow me to work more.

Gahhhhh vent!!!

No. Tain't Friday but tbh I think school holidays means justifiable drinking every night/afternoon.

Our week has been okay to be honest. DH took the day off and we me up with justabout and family, which was really nice. We then went boating in Hyde Park.

BUT, I HAVE realised that I'm bloody sick of ABA and lovely as they are I want those tutors OUT of my house by Christmas!!!!

TheArsenicCupCake · 28/10/2010 14:08

Sounds like you had a lovely time :)

we had a lovely letter this week from one of our proffesionals saying how much support, work and love we give to ds2 ( we do for all the dc's but it was about ds2).. And without what we do with him every single day/night his issues would be a whole lot worse!

Trouble is I honestly think we are burning ourselves out!

So I just need to win the lotto.. So we can not work and just be at home all the time parents!

Yeah, we got inset on Monday too. Hope they use it to talk about the mess I've created during the half term.

We had INSET last Friday and have it next Monday too!

Been a looong week here too. Ds1 hasn't started his homework - of which he has a tonne and a half - and I am dreading even raising the topic with him, let alone actually getting him to do it. Hmm

We had to cancel two of his pilates lessons as well thanks to yet another vomiting virus. The first lesson was a total disaster and I really thought it wasn't going to help, BUT - he had another hour's lesson today and it was brilliant, both boys did really well AND enjoyed it, although they have spent the rest of the day complaining about their poor aching muscles. Grin

TheArsenicCupCake · 28/10/2010 20:17

:) @ poor aching muscles

well I'm done with work for the night.. But have another load to catch up on tomorrow...

And there is flipping halloween on Sunday and ds2 will arrive home about an hour before the trick or treaters..
Which means he won't have settled before he needs to spin in circles and flap everytime the door goes!
( and he enjoys it too much to put a sign up saying not to knock).

Im filling in our first ever DLA...all week, DDs swimming party Sunday...then Halloween, inset Monday...Im opening the wine! [hsmile]I class half term as a very long weekend!

DD is loving her new visuals, working well. She hasnt wanted to go out much...has wanted a pixar overload every day...and food every 10mins. I think shes got an infection at either end but the lovely doc agreed to give us medicine if I take a sample in...I doubt DD would let her any where near her!

:( at another vomiting virus and the big workload!

TheArsenicCupCake · 28/10/2010 20:38

Wooley you have my sympathy with the DLA form over my workload.. I'll take knowing what I'm doing anyday over that form !

I had lots of plan for this half-term as my mum was down visiting and of course DS1 came down with unspecified lurgy! it was his first well day today but my mum's last day down. He has been in a vile challenging mood most of the day. Apparently I am "too old and rusty" to be his friend! Sat Nav decided on an interesting route home after we dropped my mum off at the airport and my nerves have just stopped jangling.

Lougle · 28/10/2010 21:43

I am exhausted, and am on day 6 of migraine headaches.

I am still petrified that they are going to lower DD1 to LRM on reconsideration instead of backdating her HRM to August when they got the renewal form Sad

TheArsenicCupCake · 28/10/2010 23:05

Lougle :(

migraines are a bitch! and there is no point telling you to try and nit stress out either with the DLA thing going on :(
< best cuppa and a cool flannel coming your way!)
