does anyone know where I can get one from, or has anyone got one they can recommend. Must have a really strong vibration and doesn't have to have heat though would be a bonus. TIA x

best ones are the ones that plug in tbh. How portable does it need to be?

devientenigma · 26/10/2010 17:58

one to take out and about with us shopping etc. I have seen a one on the tfh website which states small but powerful, I wonder if thats any good?? How you getting on with all your sensory activities??

we have fallen short of the BIBIC stuff recently Blush but works well.

have answered your question on the other forum. Home bargains sell them quite cheap if there is one near you, we use them in the special school i work in.

We've got the tfh one and it's fine - but not very very powerful.

Hi myra, I replied on the other forum also lol. Are they the ones that look like small animals??

I won this one for a Mumsnet product test.

Lucky me eh?

We use it for ds' sensory integration therapy. It's fab.

Dunno how much it costs though.

devientenigma · 26/10/2010 21:08

I hope you didn't use it first Grin
thanks x

also meant to ask does it have a strong vibration, no pun intended!!!

Yes, it has about 8 speeds and 6 settings, like pulsing, or going from weak to strong or vice versa. We just use it on the middle setting of continuous vibration.

Like I said, I don't know how much it costs. There might be others in the range. It would be a shame to be buying lots of settings etc. that you won't be using presumably.
