Well we took Dd3 to meet the new pead this morning and what a breath of fresh air she was.
She said she believes what we are sayingShock. And said she would give a dx if she had the support of another professional. She doesn't feel that the SALT is seeing ASD, I disaree but the most recent SALT report was a bit vague.
Anyway she looked at Dd3's handwriting and did some coordination stuff with her. She read the notes I had done for school. She also asked about sensory stuff. She seemed to ask alot more stuff than the other one who was only interested in behaviour.

she is referring Dd3 to CAMHS and OT. I am in shock I can't believe she is referring her for OT, I suppose we will have to wait ages but hey.
I gave her the diary before we left and she said she would forward it to camhs and ot.
Dd3 was really cross with me again but the pead was good with her and I think she is realising we are trying to help her. We had talked about her clumsiness at the clinic and as soon as we got home she crashed into a chair and hurt herelf so I was able to say that that is the kind of thing we are trying to help with.Smile.
Oh well back to the waiting game, but a successful morning.
I feel wrung out.[hgrin].

Good news Ineed. It's great when a professional believes you! Hope things carry on improving for you and dd.

Thankx fighting
I had almost got to the point of screaming
" I haven't got munchhausens you know" [hsmile].
She has obviously experienced people feeling like this because one of the first things she said was that she believes what we are saying.

Funny you mention 'munchhausens' - I am beginning to think some professionals think I've got it! Camhs counsellor asked why we needed a dx Hmm

Just to add, I wish I hadn't said that about running around asda. Dd2 and Dd3 decided to have a race round asda this afternoon. Dd2 [nt] is 15 and should know better.LOL.
Lots of tut tutting ... "Can't she control those children". [hgrin][hgrin].
