But this isn't 'new' news, is it? Istr there'd been a Panorama ages ago saying the same thing about teens, though an autism connection wasn't made then, it was just giving a theory of why teenagers behave as teenagers.

I do think it is interesting the way brain wiring goes haywire during adolescence. It's probably rather clumsily worded, but I think there is something very interesting in the sudden inability (rather than just lack of interest) in reading others emotions.
