children with disabilities are like butterflies with a broken wing. they are just as beautiul as all the others but they need help to spread their wings.

How strange, I'd never heard this but my DGS with CP has a birthmark on the back of his neck like a butterfly with half of one wing missing. Its very weird as, when he was born and on NICU and very very ill I asked my mother to watch over him as, when she passed away she left money for my DDs wedding and as her favourites were butterflies, DD had white butterflies on her cake and wedding dress. As he gets older and is coming on in leaps and bounds his butterfly is gently fading. There have been load of strange events surrounding DGS and I am sure his guardian angel hovers over him all the time!Smile PS Her birthday was on 31 Oct (halloween) [hgrin]
