Graduate Aspergers - careers?

I would be most interested to hear the kind of careers which graduates with Aspergers (ie those who have obtained a degree) have managed to secure - and hold down.

I understand that those with AS can struggle to find (or hold down) suitable jobs even when they have obtained good degrees.

If you know anyone in this position (relative, friend) I would be most interested to hear of the degree they obtained and the job they now hold.

Thanks

My OH has no dx, being in his 50s but he ticks all the boxes.
Oxford academic, then research, then job in a small firm in the same specialised area.
Many friends took the same route, it's not considered odd to be totally focused on your subject and have poor life skills and social interactions if you are very able. People facilitate you and your needs because you have skills and knowledge they lack but want.
You are not a social isolate, you are eccentric.Smile
