to have both day and night time needs to be entitled to middle rate?

What is everyones experieces?

Anna85, the regulations are quite care. Middle rate care is awarded for frequent care needs throughout either the day or night, but not both.

So, if you need lots of care during the day, but sleep soundly at night, you get Middle Rate.

If you need lots of care at night, but not during the day, say, you may still get Middle Rate.

If you need lots of care during the day, and you need attention for either 20 minutes or more in one stretch, or more than twice per night for any amount of time, then you get High Rate.
