It's all so up and down, saw SALT today to get push button communication equipment for DD and she was amazed by how many more words DD had, and even said that she will see her more often soon once there is more to work with, which I think is a great sign as DD was barely getting any SALT as she had no words and not much interaction.

DD used to just ignore the SALT and today ran and gave her a big hug goodbye.

So, hopeful whatever she has is indeed not progressing in wrong direction! Grin

I hope so, would be nice to feel happy for a change (and would moan less on here!)

That is great news, both the talking and not ignoring the SALT!!! I know how hard it is waiting. we went through just short of 3 years of assesments and each step forward our DD made was great, still is now evern though most people dont realise she has done something amazing!

thanks. She said 'go in the cot' this morning when she wanted to go back to bed, also an improvement

That's brilliant Fanj, an unmistakable leap in development, and as it was noted by a professional you can reassure yourself when you are having a wobbly day. :)
