The targets are a bit bland but the thing I have most issue is the I

All very well, but he has a communication disorder and hasn't got the faintest idea what these targets or that he is doing them.

Shouldn't it be 'ds will do x, ds will do y'?

You're being picky :)

I think a good IEP is worth fighting for - but still pick your battles. As long as you agree on the essence and approach of the IEP don't obsess over the wording.

He doesn't have to sign it. It's just there in the tempalte, and they haven't thought it through...

The point of the IEP is to set SMART targets, so that in 6 weeks or 6 months you can agree whether or not he's making progress, and whether or not school are doing the right things and should continue, or modify their approach.

Nothing else matters.

It's a rubbish IEP though.
