so you can expect to see me here in about 2 weeks time asking lots of questions I should think!

Tell me straight, just how bad is it? How long will it take to fill out? Is there any information I need to be requesting from elsewhere or preparing now?

....Just requested mine.

There will be lots of people here who can help so don't worry.

I do mine over the course of two weeks, usually easing into it by doing simple bits first.

I also make a list of every section and tick them off as I do them. Once the straight-forward pages are complete it's quite heartening to see them all ticked off before you tackle the complicated bits.

Reward yourself frequently with chocolate / wine as appropriate Smile

Got cerebra guide, assesors guide, NAS info and MN!

...just need to get wine. :)

I filled them in for my daughter a few weeks ago and it wasn't too bad, although definately not a fun experience. I couldn't believe that within three weeks of returning the form they had paid the money into my account.

Ah yes I'd forgotten about the cerebra guide.

How does a claim normally last for then? Do people often need to renew every year? Or is it normally a decent chunk of time?

Oh thankyou Northern sky.

I was thinking today that the problem I have with diarising everything is that it feels like you only ever see the negatives. Great advice to start noting things now, and I will definitely be keeping a can-do list for ds too
