Hi Ampersand hope you don't mind me asking for a bit of info as I saw on another thread that your DS is uncannily like mine. He is 10 and we recently had Ados test which came up negative. He has a very good vocabulary and was very charming during the test. He does however have loads of AS traits such as rituals, not liking change, literal understanding, getting angry quickly etc. Met EP today and when we described his difficulties even she was surprised that he wasn't given a dx. Suspected he may be very high functioning which could be why he is hard to dx. Have you managed to get a 2nd opinion at all? Where do you go for a 2nd opinion? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanka Ampers - look forward to hearing from you.
Star - yes I could go back to the Salt & OT I suppose but they were adamant - he wasn't even borderline. After waiting so long for tests it's all been a bit of a disappointment really. Not that I want a dx but still don't know what the problem is iykwim.
