The centre where DD was assessed, its a childrens centre/respite centre/resource centre...my HV didnt even know they did them! Hmm...her DCs have ASD.

Starlight has got it right. The most important thing you can get out of it is meeting local parents who are in the same boat as you are....

Actually I did get a lot out of one organised by parent partnership and run from someone by the ASD team.

Im arranging to meet PP next week. I am hoping to meet other parents as we know no-one with ASD....apart from DD. Id like a bit more info about SEN sucess?? Hmm

Im quite looking forward to it...I think I will know a lot of it thanks to MN! :)

I went today, it was ok but most parents were of DCs under 5, we may go to the workshop for older dcs. I did grab the SALT to follow up DDs referral! Grin...next time Ill grab the lady from Autism Outreach! :)I am seeing PP on Monday too.
