The willy song....

am chuckling to self... ds has recently discovered his willy, and is entranced with what it does, taking it out the top of his pants for a fiddle with great pride.

We have been doing the ignore it when it doesn't matter or distract him idea,

but in a fit of loopyness yesterday we ended up with a little song, which he thinks is so funny (and seems to work, as he likes joining in the 'actions', ie taking hands out of trousers)!

it goes like this

verse one

willy in your pants?
Yes Yes Yes
Pants in your trousers?
Yes Yes Yes

verse two

hands in pants?
No no no
hands in trousers?
no no no.

we had to sing it with two 'encores' !

have to admit dh and I also used to sing (to the tune of onward christian soldiers) 'stand up, stand up for mummy, you toddler in the bath, stand up stand up for mummy, so she can wash your a*se'

Anyone else with silly songs?

:)

We go no further than

DS has a stinky bum,
stinky bum,
stinky bum.
DS has a stinky bum.
Stinky, stinky bum.

But I can't remember what the tune's called (same one as in the Klingon bit of Star Trekkin')

DD to DS to the tune of If You're Happy and you Know it:

Get your finger out your bum, out your bum
Get your finger out your bum, out your bum
Get your finger out your bum
Even though it may be fun
Get your finger out your bum, out your bum

Never a dull moment in this house.

Stinky stinky little Woo
I suspect you've done a poo
In your nappy, warm and brown
smelling out the whole of town
Stinky stinky little Woo
I was right, you've done a poo.

&, to same tune as S&S:

Stop it, stop it, young WooBear
You've made your Mother cross
If I swapped you for a goldfish
it would not be a loss.

I am a very bad Mother. Blush There was a good one about snot as well, if I remember it I'll add it later!

Oh dear, too many to even begin. Reams and reams we used to sing to DD as a baby and even now occasionally. "Bathtime" to the tune of Born Free (really operatic as well, has them both in fits). "What shall we do with a stinky baby" to the tune of what shall we do with the drunken sailor (not had to do that one in a while, thank heavens).
I could go on...
However am PMSL at the willy song and the one about standing up in the bath.
Glad to see we are all loopy Grin

Ah so am not the only one to sing silly songs! When I was at the end of my tether I sang (as gently as curcumstances allowed) Donna Nobis Pacem! ( I think it means give us peace).
It's time for play group now ( repeatx3 heyho my laddy oh its time for playgroup now!
Its off to playgroup now etc - until ds had got the hang of what was coming next!
And to the tune of snow white - its off to work we go
Hi ho hi ho, Its off to the pond we go with a bag of bread so the ducks get fed ho ho etc

tallwivglasses · 24/09/2010 14:31

So glad more songs have appeared (and of a very high quality might I add)

A sure sign that we can all be creative in the face of adversity!

And there was me, paranoid last night that I'd killed the thread with the finger out your bum song Smile

signandsay · 24/09/2010 14:52

Am a very happy bunny, so chuffed that I am not the only loopy one, (finger out of your bum had me literally rolling on sofa laughing) (am seriously considering name change to 'willysongmum')
