can't the sodding staff at respite place send her sodding stuff home???
on Thursday she comes home minus her chair charger and PJ's
today no hoody and no head switches.
I am so fed up with ringing to chase stuff......and if J makes one more excuse I will scream....

that's very careless. you could understand it a bit more with clothes, as they might say need washing or get mixed up with another child's, but chargers/and head switches??

thing is I tell then not to wash her clothes unless they have to (the might have had to this time with the pj's ) so that they don't get lost(also I hate thier soap powder it reeks)
so the clothes should go straight in her bag

That isn't great. Infact that's pretty terrible really. I would have though they're rather essential. Would be furious if that was me.

I agree it's a pain in the bum.
Could you send her with a laminated list of every item and ask them to double check she has everything on the list before she's sent home?
I know you shouldn't have to, but her chair charger? They need to be more organised.

I feel your pain. Same here, but the charger and head switches takes it to another level.

I keep wondering whether to make a list, like Goblin says, or even take a photo of DS's stuff.

It does amaze me sometimes that it is seemingly so difficult to organise so few children - DS's respite place has a maximum of 4 children at a time and 1:1 staff. I keep getting the wrong clothes home and even girls clothes and DS arrived at school without a nappy on recently.
