Lingle (or anyone else :) ) I noticed Winslow are selling the fun deck set & wondered if you'd tried them in the end & what you thought?

(I'm also thinking about getting a couple of the Webber sets for sequencing & inferences)

thanks!

am pretty sure Lingle tried them and wasn't that impressed, can't remember why though...

ps - am pretty sure somewhere slightly bizarre, like waterstones.com, sells a few of the single packs of the fun decks or an equivalent, so you don't commit to more than £6 until you know they are good.

TC that's helpful thanks :) I'll do a search later & see what I can find.

I've used them (am an SLT)and don't particularly like them - I found them very American. The pack of idiom cards are ok, but there are a lot of references/words that the children didn't know, or at least not in that context.
Found it hard to actually play 'games' with them too.
What areas of language are you looking for things for - maybe I can recommend something? Smile
