Aarrrgggghhhhh. Why can't anyone EVER do something right the 1st time? Why does it ALWAYS take me to have to sort out peoples cock ups?
DS has just started school. Back in May there was a large meeting with all ds's professionals and the school attended. SENCO spoke to the dietician and was given a handwritten list on a poststick note as far as I can tell of what ds can't have. SENCO told dietician to write to central school dinners to get the school dinners in place for ds. Job done you would have thought?
NO!!!!! The dietician seems to have written about a different child to central school dinners but put my sons name in it. This came to light yesterday when the school cook came to speak to me because she couldn't understand why he was being allowed certain foods (thankfully this is a small village school and we know the cook well before starting school).
Typically the dietician is away until Monday. The cook has her hands tied. All dieticians (school dinners and hospital) are telling me that a packed lunch is impossible. So now they're saying until this monumental mess is sorted I'm going to have to bring him home for lunch.
Why oh why couldn't someone do something right in his transition? Thats now all 3 areas that he has problems in totally cocked up. I sometimes wonder why I bothered with arranging the TAC / CAF in May if then no one actually then does the work afterwards or does it but does it sooooo wrong.
