dd2 went back to school last week.

i have decided to give her a term to settle into juniors, new routines etc, and then start the scary diagnosis route.

BUT

senco already written to say she is workinmg with dd2 this year, and to contact her at any time.

dd2 wont be moved round the class for work, she has a set place, and kids come to her table etc for group work.

and her teacher is fabby Smile

great start to the term. was feeling very apprehensive about the new term and how dd2 would cope with all the changes, but if things carry on as they start it should make things easier. I think it helps that the previous year group had a lot of chldren on the spectrum so the teacher is very well practised in that respect, if that makes sense.

i know my LEA are one of the worst to deal with, so having the school onside is one less worry iyswim. they have been excellant, and said they will help support us through the whole dx route. which is a relief a the pre-school was so crap, and backtracked at every step. which is why its taken me years to be brave enough to go through it again.
