That's great MissTired, it's good to share the nice stuff.

My ds started in the juniors today and had a 'fantastic' day according to his new teacher, teacher couldn't believe how well he listened and joined in!!. Ds also said he was trying really hard to be good Smile

Also my 4year old(also sn) had pants on all day without an accident, have been toilet training all summer so very pleased with him.

can I join you? Pleased that your DS loved school!

During our 'mini' SLT&OT therapy session today my DS (4,2) sang The Wheels of the Bus from start to finish, with all words in place, excellent eye contact and all the hand movements. He was so proud of himself and I was even prouder Grin

Lovely - nice thread Smile

DD started pre-school today and was quite happy to wave goodbye to me! She was on a trike when I went to pick her up which made my day as she couldn't ride one the last time she tried!

DS walked to the co-op on sunday..by himself. It's only about 500 yards from our house,at the end of the road, but he has NEVER been outside by himself before (he's 13, ASD, MLD etc)

Dad followed behind and then walked into the shop to help DS find the milk and pay for it!

DS is very proud of himself ! It is a HUGE step for him as he is very anxious and dependent . I never thought he would make it so am thrilled!

I'm so pleased for you - I agree we need to celebrate the good stuff more!! :)

So to add to this thread my beautiful 5 month old dd (who has ds) went in her door bouncer for the first time today and spent a good 10 minutes giggling / smiling & pushing herself round in circles- I was so proud of her!! especially as we'd been warned she would resist anything new.

She's a real little superstar & I'm so proud of her every single day!
