The person I'm thinking of was before your time I think 2shoes and is a lurker (AFAIK) rather than poster.

we have to remember that 99% of the people who post on th sn topic are nice honest people.

Riven, please don't be driven away, I haven't read the thread, and I don't know who the OP is, but mean spirited people like that are just not worth bothering about.

We all come on here for support, advice and someone who understands. There are what I would describe as some "strong" characters on SN, but that shouldn't mean that people can't have differing views and opinions AND remain civil to each other.

I sometimes think that it is easy to forget that behind the "noms de plume" there are real people, with real feelings.

I like to think that people would not be so rude in RL.

Don't let them "win" and drive you away.

Riven, I don't know what has happened or what has been said, by some trolls or numpties, but I do know that you have been very supportive towards me, I hope you have felt the understanding I have offered you, and I know that this sn forum is filled with good people, struggling to get through, with the warmth an kindness in their hearts enought share with others struggling too. I have been thinking of you the last few days, wondering how you are, how your dh and dc are, wondering whether they la are finally doing the right thing. You have all my best thoughts. x
