xxxThank you eidsvold, that's really nice of you!

Grace was fine! I pick her up at 3.15.

I was ok, until I told Grace to hang up her coat and the teacher said "Have a look at the picture on your peg Grace and have a look at Ellies so you can show her when she comes"

Of course, there was an empty peg where Ellies coat should have been.

That really got to be, had a good cry when I got home then we took Ellie to the Zoo!!!

Thanks so much for asking

Hi annie bear, I dont post much as i only had the internet at work until last week but now have it at home. I have twin boys also just turned 4 and they both started school today. I have had my concerns over the last few years about DS2 being behind DS1 developmentally, speech and occ therapy when he was 13 months to 2 and a half. I think he is fine now although I still get worried from time to time and get paranoid about seeing other children of the same age. However i just wanted to say that I really felt for you when I read your post about Ellies peg and i realised that I was lucky that my 2 boys were going off together and should enjoy the time. I hope that Grace enjoyed her day and that it wont be long before Ellie goes off to school too

I'm glad Grace had a good day.

about the teacher's comment though. Hopefully Ellie will soon be there with her sister when her m/s sessions start. xx

Thanks

Ellie starts back at her School on Monday.

Not sure when she has a session at Graces. Was meant to go on Friday afternoons but I have found out that is assembly day.

What do you think? I know she won't be able to sit through an assembly (no chance!) also it seems to defeat the object of her socialising if she has to be pinned down in an assembly!!

Davros · 03/09/2005 16:50

I think it would be better to start on another day and not Fridays. It needs to be planned properly to work so I'd say something about it.

anniebear · 03/09/2005 20:34

I think she could keep quiet for about the first two minutes!!

She couldn't whisper to save her life!!

It is a pain , I wish the School had mentioned the assembly when i suggested a Friday afternoon.

We have transport arranged for some days so this would mess it all up

Why can't things be straight forward?!!
