Cards for the visually impaired

I have no idea if there is such a thing out there, but I am looking for a card (blank message one, not birthday) for a child who is visually impaired.

I can find ones with Braille messages, but this isn't what I need.

I was thinking of a card with a tactile picture ont he front - things to touch, etc.

Do such cards exist?

Thank you.

maybe there's a business opportunity there then?!

Depends how much vision the child has really, high contrast pictures are good if there's a little vision.

Otherwise I think most card shops sell shaped cards that can be good, or I think the cheaper card shops sometimes have more tactile cards. Or make your own!

Had a quick look for cards dd3 would like and saw ones like this this this and this just as a quick example.

I can't remember what the shop is called but there is a cheap card shop that sell lots of 3d cards. sorry thats not very helpful.
OH says it might be called card factory.
My Dd's like to make touchy feely cards for their cousin who is VI.

dont know if it would be any good, but you can get parchment (spelt wrong i think) cards, that are made by embossing, debossing and poking holes, to form a picture.

Craft fairs sell hand made cards which are often raised, I've seen pop up cards.
What about those noisy cards that you record your own birthday message in.

Thanks all.

Think I will get DD to make one.

My cousin is 10y and just found out she is going blind :( I am not sure what her vision is like now or how quickly it will go completely. Could be quite quick though sadly. I know that it is already very blurred and impaired and is virtually non existent by bedtime. And I think her colours have gone. It is all pretty sad TBH :(

However, my grandparents syas that she loves recieveing stuff int he post and her big brother will read things for her. But I thought a tactile card with things to feel would be nice.
