just plopped through the door in a letter.

So there we have it in black and white.

I feel strangely, erm, at ease about it. Maybe it hasn't sunk in yet.

But, then again, it's been in the offing for 2.5 years now. We get DLA...

So, I guess I'm now a fully paid up SN Mum.

(No need to respond - I know how busy you lot are!!)

how you feeling?

Eloise73 · 23/08/2010 16:07

It's so hard, am sending hugs and pixie dust. We got ours almost 2 weeks ago, I still feel a bit shocked sometimes and it wasn't a shock at all if you know what I mean.

Starlight - it's ASD with ADHD pending chat with CAMHS.

I've had a few tears.

Then we went shopping and brought our lovely little monster a fluffy gruffalo and a Mr Potato Head.

Just because he deserves it Wink

Its always difficult to read however he is still the same boy.
Take it easy and take time to get your head round it. Keep posting on here too.

It is difficult even when you expect it - give yourself some time for it to sink in.
Perhaps buy yourself the equivalent of a fluffy gruffalo - you deserve it too (at the risk of sounding like a L'Oreal ad)

I have yet to recieve the letter on the mat although have had the CAMHS chat and official verbal diagnosis sprinkle. Hope you are feeling abit better now x

((HUGS)) even though you were probably expecting it, must have felt a bit blunt seeing it in black n white. I agree - go and buy your equivalent of a fluffly gruffalo. xxx
