For the sake of my blood pressure I'm having a bit of time out from here (not here as in SN boards but here as in other mn boards).

Some posters and their attitudes towards disability and carers are quite frankly out of order. I don't believe it's being dealt with in the correct way - if the comments made were about other minority groups it'd be a criminal offence, but hey it's legal to be disablist in real life isn't it?

I'll return, but I've got too much shite going on in RL without reading yet more of it here x

GlitterKnickaz, it's just ignorance, though, isn't it? Take time out, but remember that they are just people with a very narrow field of experience.

To be honest I don't look on any of the other boards at all as it's not worth the pain of dealing with all the 'they don't know how lucky they all are' type debates that we always have on here.

As you say, more than enough to wind us up without being exposed to more a-holes.

Totally understand. I hardly come on. Came on today and got involved with some incredibly ludicrous views on another thread.
