do kids develop an intolerance to this?

Ds has been on it for a while now, firstly 2mg of circadin which was then changed to 4mg of kidnaps. We can give him 2mg extra after a few hours if it hasn't worked.
It seems not to work at all lately, even with the extra dose.

Is this common? Can I give him more? Would more actually work?

He's still awake now and showing no signs of tiredness....I NEED a break from him!

My ds is on 8ml of Melatonin. He started with very small amounts several years ago when we first started to use it. Our GP has also given us something else as a back up called Vallergan (he only has a very tiny amount- 0.5ml) but this seems to help massively.

You may just need to up his dose (talk to gp first), dd2 is 4 and on 3mg, some nights i give her 6mg (2x3mg) as advised by her pead.
