Lea and Ot

Ok the lea had asked ot for more specfic recommnedations , today i got a copy of them and they are very good really are

Now question is do the lea have to put them all in and ye sim insisiting parts 2 and 3 not the wishy stuff in part 5,6 they tried

How will it look at tribunal if they asked for this from the ot/physio then refused to take account of it

OT's a funny one. SALT is well-establised as educationals but you have to frame your argument well for OT. I think physio is almost always in 5 & 6, but OT links with handwriting etc. which is clearly educational so it's easier to argue.

If they're being arses, they'll use all of the OT/ physio stuff but put it all in parts 5 & 6. The Tribunal will probably see that a lot.

Can live with physio in 5 and 6 it'd the bit linked to handwriting computers etc that I want in 2 and 3 though me thinks some of the stuff about him should be in 2 at least so that you see this report realise it's about him so far there's nothing in2 or 3 that he has problems holding a pen

Oh bugger I know in it they talk about he will need grips ,computer aids handwriting programme daily handwriting stuff in program supplied by it in conjuction with his teacher

She also put that he needs minimum of 1 hr contact time each half term with the OT Yo review his progress and for her to make reccomendations regarding programs and equipment that us needed plus tine for the Ot to liase with the school

This time she has dropped the he may need and he requires access to in favour of he will need and he must have

Also there are goals in it and how there be reached ie to spend 2 mins doing .....to be done with his teacher or class LSa so is specific to school

Not worried if dine by lsa as she is experienced and the teacher is good she has gone out of her way already to seek Ot stuff that she can build into the class it's mote case of making sure he is not shafted by the Lea

Mind lol she nit going be popular either lea or nhs because has commited them to providing scissors hand. Grips slope and cultery for school lol

We won our Tribunal, including OT in Part 3. It can be done!
