I LOVE my dentist.....

This morning I took myself and DS to the dentist. We DO go every 7 or so months, usually, DS WILL NOT open his mouth so, his teeth never get seen. he also usually gets freaked out by things, so my teeth never get cleaned etc.

TODAY, he sat in the chair, the dentist answered ALL his questions about all the lights and buttons and instruments etc, and was so lovely with him, and got him to open his mouth (so he could show him how the light and mirror worked), and thoroughly checked his teeth!

THEN the dentist kept answering DS' questions about all the buttons etc, while he checked and scaled and polished MY teeth!

I am so proud and happy!

Ds is also very chuffed with his special spider-man sticker "it says "Super patient!"

LOL! Cherry tree Dental in Cheshunt, HERTS. They are really amazing, I swapped there after ds was born as my old dentist made some nasty comments about me only having dental care becasue I was pg, and that I would only go and get pg again for more free dental care (?! DS was a miracle baby adn will be an only child)

DON'T have a bad word to say about this one, great with DS, amazing with me the ONE time I had to have work done (ds was weeks old, and as a result of the other dentist being crap, I had to have a tooth out, the dentist told me I needed it, looked at my face, and did the whole procedure there and then so I couldn't back out!)

He is also, as I said GREAT with ds! I have reccomended them to a few people, they are brilliant!

We have an awesome dentist too. He takes it gently with ds and actually asks me questions about ASD - most people don't really want to know.

He also says nice things about my teeth...

It's amazing, cos he NEVER seems like he is at all rushed and NEVER MAKES ds do anything, and he explains absolutely everything, showing him carefully all the equiptment before he uses it and explaining what he will do and how it works etc.
