DD agreed to go on a drama course by herself and she said could we tell the lady in charge thst "sometimes she doesn't see very well"

Which is the first time she has said that it is only sometimes

Which I thought was a big admission

Fantastic... haven't responded to many of your posts as didn't feel I had much useful I could add. But this really is good news. Fingers crossed for the rest of the recovery.

I thought so too

She may actually be getting over it (finally)

She came running through to me over the weekend in tears because it had all gone away, but it came back after a few minutes

So I guess it is fluctuating quite widely now

It's good to hear that she's beginning to accept that she can see some of the time. It must be very hard not knowing what's going to happen still. Let's hope that as it becomes more consistent she feels more able to rely on it and it turns into a kind of virtuous circle of recovery and acceptance.
