Turned down DD2 was hoping for a yes so we could afford to send her to the private preschool especially for children with ASD which was ecommened by Pead
have asked for reconsdieration, but not sure im up for another battle just yet.

Hope you get a better result on reconsideration. Have you contacted your Carer's Association? They came and helped us fill in the form when we were turned down. I was told that they actually turn down a lot of applications first time perhaps just to discourage people applying. However, we got a better result on appeal. Good luck.

have called peads offce they have said they will write a letter. SN HV filled in page 33 for us.

They turned down ds3 on forst asking, asked for reconsideration adn they gave him higher. Sure they just don't read.

happy to read any reports you've done yourself (have done that for toehrs on here) but don't give up.

took 9 months and tribunal to get it for dd1 am used to the fight just not sure im in right frame of mind to do it!

I can understand that but the first satge, teh letter, isn;t difficult is it? Try that at elast before you give in

DS2 got turned down a while ago, so I asked for them to look at it again. I had then given up on it as I could not be bothered to go through even more stress.

That was until a few weeks ago, when I recieved 6 months backdated Higher rate care & mobility in my bank account.

Sometimes it just takes another person at DWP to look through the forms to get the award right.
