Back to the salt today

I don't know how to start. We actually went back because I had requested that Dd3's Theory of Mind was tested [after having an informal test], anyway the Salt said she was happy to except the findings from the informal test. She did some more stuff around emotional language and inference which Dd3 has made some progress with.
She said she thought we would have had a Dx by now so I told her that the pead wanted to sit on the fence for 6 months and then see Dd3 again but we hadn't yet recieved another appointment. Anyway she said that the pead has left!! Great. So she is going to refer her to another Pead who she thinks will be more knowledgable about girls with aspergers and the subtleties of their difficulties.We talked quite alot about sharing issues and tantrums and she made loads more notes. So now we have got to wait to see if this new pead will see her. OMG it's sooo frutrating, at least I feel that she believes me and Dd3 tried really hard.

how frustrating, I would phone and chase it up, and depending on how long over due the 6month review is, think of complaining if a referral to another paed isn't sorted.

The appointment is due now so haven't chased it yet but definatly will if its not here when I get back from my hols.
I think the salt was embarrassed that she was to one to tell us, although reading between the lines I think maybe we could be better off with the new paed. I have chilled abit about it now and have spent some time thinking about the strategies she talked to us about instead of brooding on stupid paeds. Thankyou for taking the time to reply.
