Any one tried Kar2ouche? I've been recommended it for my AS 8 year old to create social stories and explore feelings etc, but before I fork out the big bucks, has any one got any views?

I have used Kar2ouche to write social stories and have found you can produce stories that really engage children. I also know of several SEN staff in schools that use Kar2ouche regularly to write social stories and also to work on emotions. I know that some schools have found Kar2ouche very useful as a medium of communication.

You might be interested in an article written by Dorothy Walker that appeared in the TES Magazine on 9th December 2005 about teachers' experiences using Kar2ouche with children with various SEN needs
