Here is their timeline. They should register it and give you a date within 10 working days (i.e. two weeks) and you can submit evidence up until week 16. (You can also submit late evidence after that but you have to make an application for that and it's at their discretion).

Any day in August is not a working day so the timeline will be adjusted accordingly for that.

roundthebend, do you live anywhere near nottinghamshire?? if so and youre on benefits or low income you can get a 2 day assessment free or cheapish depending on income at somewhere im gong to for my ds, the 2 days involves ot, salt, teacher, ed psych. we just booked it and its being done 15th and 16th september - they dont open holidays as its at a school but though a charity (ican) so not nhs or education! let me know if you want more details!

mis stired no sadly not in nottinghamshire , but do have some rather fab Ep and salt reports from Ican went to meath house in surrey , but Lea not quibbling the salt they rolled over and gave what I wanted .But do wonder if its worth me contacting them from a Ot point of view

Its the Ot they have given me some what i wanted but its the recommendations from the Ot that they have put in the statement that are crap , so arguing on 2 points that the Ot provison is not enough and clearly does not meet in part 3 whats in part 2 .

Then as seperate issue for the Ot bit am tackling the rather crap Ot report and that there recommendations dont even meet their own report which confirmed ds is below 1% apparently was not even enough to actually reaqlly ount hence the below 1% for gross and fine motor control

were arguing for salt to be in statement, ot to be in statement and some one to one to be in statement, la argue he needs none of these as the special school thy have offered him a place at will help him - my arguement, they will try fair enough but they are not trained ot's, salts and they dont have to do anything if its not in the bloody statement!!!! so off to tribunal we go, however la are meeting us next week to discuss why were going to tribunal and to "reassure me that i dont need to go to tribunal he will be ok, no statements in nottinghamshire name salt, ot, one to one etc" im very but will see what the meeting brings, if by chance they agree to everything i can withdraw appeal but i very much doubt it!!!

we still have salt very strong in statement yet ds has speech unit placement and Lea had already agree before statement but since I dont trust him I wanted it on paper to .
