Have used a few different names lately. DS was refused SA for various reasons (mainly Nat. Curriculum levels) and I wrote to LA disputing every point that they refused on. Not had response yet but spoke to Senco today who said she had spoken to Case Manager this week and given some extra bits of evidence. Just had call from Case Manager who has said they have now decided to assess after all. Can't believe it! I know it's only the start of a long journey but at least I can hold off sorting out all the tribunal paperwork. Thanks so much to everyone here who gave me the knowledge and strength to keep fighting for ds especially Claw,Debs, Tg and Atilla. Claw's had a good result, so have I now good luck Tg for Friday!

Fab, fab and double fab! Well done you. You did this. You made your case so strongly that they could not legitimately refuse.

Now for TG!!

Thanks all - think they thought it would be easier to assess than try to respond to my letter .
Some good news for you then too Tg. Things are looking up!

Well done fighting! TG is right, it's down to your hard work.

Good luck TG, I'll be thinking of you. And I bloody well hope my LA officer is feeling the stress of my tribunal next week!

'Apparently she is blaming parent support groups'

Yes it's the MN special needs board - mums everywhere are now standing up to the LA's

Fightingthela - great news!

I waivered between wanting the LA to back out before the Tribunal and wanting to go to Tribunal, after all the work involved in preparing my case, I think that I would have felt cheated out of my day in court, so to speak.

Waiting for the decision is total hell though!

After all the work and preparation I now find myself, for the first time in MONTHS, having nothing to do!

Well apart from drafting FOIs request for the next stage of my campaign.....

Go TG! Go TG! {shaking cheer leaders pom-poms emoticon}
