Just got report from physio and Ot ds scores below 1% for gross and same for fine also visual motor intergration below 1% compared to a nt 5 year old yet ds be in year 1 in September can see he is so going struggle in speech placement ANC this confirms that his pd going have impact

No mention of equipment he will need just the pratice drawing shapes in foam etc like nit been doing that already last few years

so i'm now going to have to pay for private Ot report

and because where ds is going to school they won't even see him in school as out of area so at some point ds will get a block locally and a program fir school which already have said they won't have time yet he be out the house from 7.20 to almost 5 pm so can't do once he is home

Does your ds have a Statement? The school are obliged under the SEN Framework to provide equipment if he has. If he hasn't how do you feel about getting one started? You can get OT put into that and they then have to provide this in school time.

Ds has statement and has Ot in it but trouble is his placement is for speech were falling foul of health boundries we live one area school another Ot physio here have. Said they won't go into school as to far and h can't be seen by another team where school is because we live somewhere else

Should have mentioned ds has little speech mostly nouns hence the speech unit for September who are having a huge quibble because of his pd taking staff time from other pupils this is just going to add weight to their arguement
