If your child wears piedros, do they wear those or trainers for PE?

piedros on advice of the physio, dd3s ankles aren't strong enough for trainers especially during pe. Would think it's a good idea to check with your physio, guess it's one of those depends on the child things.

Hi, yes my son wears Piedro boots, but he has to wear 'trainers' for school P.E.- not our choice I'm afraid. Our Physio said if this were to be the case we had to find trainers that did up with laces [no velcro as you cannot secure it tightly enough],and to put the orthotics inside the trainers. We were also asked to find trainers that were 'boot' style, but not baseball boot style as they are not supportive enough!
Having searched everywhere, we eventualy found them in Next! The other problem is making sure that the school lace them to the top and tie them strongly, as they are needed for support. The times we have come to pick up from school to find Piedro boots just laced to the first 3 and then the laces tucked in!
