can anyone give me some advice? my dd5 is in a unit and has servere learning diff,autistic traits,and under emerging diagnosis for dyspraxia,she has been in her placement for 2 yrs, and every 6mnths school adv placement not suitable and call ep in, each time, she feels it is appropriate, we r sick of fighting it now and as there is no provision for yr 2 at her school,she d be moving in sep anyway, im at the end of my tether,she s not happy, behavoiur getting worse,and i cant see how yanking her out of there is going to help especially when i found out 2day that she ll prob end up in a school miles away, i thought she was supposed to have rights but i feel like this isnt the case at all, no one gives a damn whats best for her apart from us, i just dont know what to do, any1 out there live in rct who can advise me what the other units and special schools r like in my area???
