Our ds is going for statutory assessment and we have to fill in a form about his development/language etc.
Do we focus on the things he cant do /struggles with or do we concentrate on the things that he has acheived since on IEP?

This is your chance to put a strong case as to why your child needs additional support to help him access the national curriculium. It is important to make sure that all the information about his difficulites and what type of support appears to make a difference to his learning.

IPSEA (see their web site, also telephone helpline) they were very supportive throughout the statement process.
