Hi everyone.

I have a dd with mild ASD. She learns very well on her own and loves learning on the computer. She did really well with Starfall.com, but seems to have outgrown that.

does anyone know of any other good resources for reading on the PC? Doesn't have to be free, but I would like recommendations before I buy.

thanks very much

www.headsprout.com. you can try first three lessons for free. then it's £40/50 for the rest of the 40 "lessons". Moondog on here who is a SALT and I believe doing postgrad work on language and literacy recommends it highly.

Try www.signedstories.com it's a resource for childrens stories - she might find it fun. It's not really a lesson based website but my kids love it. You can watch stories with voice over, pictures and british sign language.

Anyway hope this helps
