Moderate Learning Difficulties

The Ed Psych has recommended a school for children with moderate learning difficulties for DS1 who starts school in Aug 2009. He is ASD and the school has enhanced provision for ASD so it is sounding like a very good option. What other issues/difficulties might children at a MLD primary school have? It's not a trick question, I don't mind at all, I'm just curious.

It may be different in Scotland but where we are a MLD school would also have kids with SLD and PMLD, just down to parental choice.

I'm in Scotland but in my area the classification is MLD - Moderate Learning Difficulties and CLD - Complex Learning Difficulties. I'm visiting the school on Tuesday so will find out more then.
